so i voted

I don't understand why I browse the politics subreddit, but I suppose there are pros and cons to everything. The pros:

  • it keeps me in the loop about the latest news
  • somehow, I like to know that people are also having the same reaction to all this bullshit

And that's it... I guess you could say that it just reinforces my worldview, and is somewhat of an echo chamber. I don't know. The cons:

  • it keeps me in the loop about the latest news
  • it reminds me how much bullshit is going on

There's probably more to it than that, but that's what I'm thinking straight off the bat. I also sometimes wonder if I feel to need to be emotionally invested in something, considering that life has been rather stale, what with current events and all.

so Mo is finally getting married, and just announced his fiance is pregnant. WOWWWOWOWOWOW.

I guess it was only a matter of time, but still!

I voted. What with everything that's going on, and despite California being relatively safe, I still did it. So at the very least, I can be on record for making at least one right decision in my life.

Although it can be argued, that voting isn't necessarily about me. All things considered, I've lead a very insular and secure life, despite the changes in politics and the economy.

Still, I voted anyway, because what the fuck else can I do.

And there it is. Happy Halloween.
